About SmartCalc
SmartCalc is a free set of online calculators for money, health, and everyday scheduling — built to turn your inputs into a usable answer in seconds.
What SmartCalc Is
SmartCalc is a free collection of 37 online calculators covering finance, health, and date & time. Every tool is built to answer a common question quickly — an estimated mortgage payment, a daily calorie target, the number of days until a deadline — without sign-ups, downloads, or spreadsheets.
Why It Exists
Most everyday calculations rely on well-known formulas, but tracking them down and applying them correctly takes time. SmartCalc packages those formulas into simple, focused pages so you can go from inputs to a usable answer in seconds, then move on with your decision.
How the Calculators Work
Calculations run entirely in your browser using widely accepted formulas and methods — for example, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for metabolic rate, the U.S. Navy method for body fat, and standard amortization math for loans. Each calculator page also explains how the tool works, how to read the results, and when to use it.
Privacy
There are no accounts and nothing to log in to. The values you type stay in your browser and are used only to produce the result on screen — we do not collect or store your inputs. The site uses Google Analytics for aggregate traffic statistics and Google AdSense for advertising; see our Privacy Policy for full details.
How It's Funded
SmartCalc is kept free through advertising. Ads help cover hosting and development costs so the calculators can stay open to everyone with no paywalls or usage limits.
Who Makes It
SmartCalc is a small, independently run project. It is maintained by one person who fixes bugs, refines formulas, and adds new calculators based on what people ask for.
Accuracy and Limitations
Results are estimates for informational and educational purposes only and do not constitute financial, medical, legal, or tax advice. Always verify important figures with an authoritative source or a qualified professional. Full details are on the Disclaimer and Terms of Use pages.
Feedback
Suggestions, corrections, and requests for new calculators are welcome. Email contact@smartcalculations.app or use the Contact page.
